📣 Announcing BIG DRUM – a new devotional periodical

I am very pleased to share the happy news that today, on blessed occasion of Madhvācārya's appearance day and Rāmacandra-vijayotsava, a new online periodical called Big Drum (named after the Bṛhad Mṛdaṅga) has taken birth.
This periodical will feature the writings of our previous ācāryas (articles, prayers, etc.) that, for the most part, have never been published in English before.

This project has been started by my good friend Srivas das. I've spent some time with him and I've always marveled at his very busy desktop overflowing with numerous folders of rare articles, stavas, and book excerpts that he's been translating. Now, finally, he will begin sharing this treasure trove of rare gems he's been collecting over the years with the world.

Today, you will find a few new postings on the site to celebrate this special day:

1. Śrī Nṛsiṁha-nakha-stutīḥ by Śrīman Madhvācārya
2. Prāṇanātha – a glorification of Śrī Madhvācārya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Prabhupāda
3. Maṇi-mañjarī (first installment) – a small book comprised of sweet, poetic summaries of Rāma-līlā and Kṛṣṇa-līla, followed by an in-depth refutal of Māyāvāda.
4. Gauḍīya’s 27th Year – an editorial written by Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Vāmana Gosvāmī Mahārāja in which he glorifies Madhvācārya
5. Śrī Rāmacandra and Durgā-pūjā – an article written by Śrīla Gurudeva (Śrīmad Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja) in 1957.
6. All of the above on one page.
