With Gaura-Pūrṇimā approaching tomorrow, the atmosphere here in Navadvīpa and Māyāpura is alive with kīrtana, harikathā, and all kinds of devotional activity. Countless devotees from across India and around the globe have gathered here to perform parikramā and celebrate the divine appearance of Śacīnandana Gaurahari. It's truly impossible to imagine the grand festivities unfolding worldwide right now. Amidst this blissful busyness, I'm feeling compelled to send out this quick, unplanned message, with a couple things for your Gaura-Pūrṇimā celebration and an announcement. Let's start with the announcement:

Dainik Nadiya Prakash reading

The other day, my friend Śrīvāsa mentioned to me that he had recently translated some fascinating articles from Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Prabhupāda's daily newsletter, the Dainik Nadiya Prakash. So, this morning, we had an informal gathering on Zoom to delve into some of these articles. You can watch the reading we had here:

Tomorrow, at our usual daily reading time (7 AM India Time), we plan to continue reading more of these articles from Dainik Nadiya Prakash. You're most welcome to join. Simply click here to access the Zoom meeting at the scheduled time.

After today's reading, I'm feeling inspired to turn this into a regular thing. These Dainik Nadiya Prakash articles are brimming with rasa and fascinating history, and for the first time in a century, we have access to them. I'm considering making a new online program to meet with Śrīvāsa once a week (or maybe every two weeks) so that he can share highlights from what he's been translating. Would you be interested in joining such a program?

By the way, all these Dainik Nadiya Prakash articles are being regularly published on https://nadiyaprakash.com/

Nadīyā-udayagiri

In numerous temples and households worldwide, at dusk, as the auspicious time of the Lord's advent begins, devotees will participate in Mahāprabhu's abhiṣeka ceremony, accompanied by the singing of the song "Nadīyā-udayagiri" from Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta (Ādi-līlā 13.98–124). Here is a link to our translation and recording of that song, which I sent out on the Gaudiya Kirtan mailing list last night:

The Gift of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu

I believe the majority of the subscribers to this Vine of Devotion mailing list have likely already viewed the 108-minute documentary film on the essential teachings of our Śrīla Gurudeva, Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja. But, if you haven't had the chance or if you wish to rewatch it, this is definitely the perfect time! A couple of days ago, it hit 30,000 views. ☺️

Here's a brief overview of the video along with a link to view it:

Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja, and those under his guidance, sequentially illustrate the four profound reasons Mahāprabhu came to this world. Enriched with our predecessor ācāryas’ sublime writings, utterances and kīrtanas, this presentation offers a glimpse of the significance of the Lord’s most merciful manifestation.

If you don't have the time to sit down and watch the entire film, no worries! You now have the option to listen to the audio version while on the move:

Okay, that is all for now. Gaura Hari Bol!!!
