UPDATE: To participate in the Daśa-mūla-śikṣā program, I'm temporarily canceling the Friday Bhaktivinoda-gīti-dhārā sessions.

Haribol! In my previous post, I announced Candramukhi Didi's Daśa-mūla-śikṣā course, but mentioned how sadly, I (or anyone who didn't want to miss the live BGD sessions) wouldn't be able to attend it due to conflicting timings. Well, now I glad to inform you that I'm temporarily pausing the Friday Bhaktivinoda-gīti-dhārā programs so that we can all join!

Registration is closing soon, so if you’re interested in participating, please click the link below as soon as possible:

Here are the session timings in different time zones:

  • New Delhi (IST): 7:00 am – 8:30 am (Friday, June 7)
  • Sydney (AEST): 11:30 am – 1:00 pm (Friday, June 7)
  • Los Angeles (PST): 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm (Thursday, June 6)
  • New York (EST): 9:30 pm – 11:00 pm (Thursday, June 6)

These classes will take place every Friday until August 9.

As I was taking prasāda just now, I realized that there's no need for me to make it so that anyone joining the live Bhaktivinoda-gīti-dhārā programs would have to miss out on this upcoming Daśa-mūla-śikṣā course. And why force anyone to have to choose between two overlapping Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura programs? I definitely didn't want to miss this course!

I also had some other personal reasons for pausing our Friday sessions:

  • I hope to learn from the experts on how to lead classes. Perhaps I'll incorporate some of Candramukhi’s techniques into our own Bhaktivinoda-gīti-dhārā programs. I’ve never joined a devotional course like this before.
  • Moving at a slower pace in our Bhaktivinoda-gīti-dhārā program will make it easier to keep up with memorizing all the Śaraṇāgati songs as we go through them.
  • We're running behind on preparing the new edition of Gauḍīya Gīti-guccha, so having an extra day each week without having to worry about any setup would be extremely helpful for me.

Alright, I didn’t need to go into all that detail, but I did. 😅 Hope to see you in Candramukhi Didi’s class tomorrow!

Jaya Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura ki jaya!
