On the joyous occasion of Annakuṭa Mahotsava, I will be starting a program to go through and memorize the verses of Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī's Śrī Govardhana-vāsa-prārthanā-daśakam.

Every alternate day we will try to understand the meanings of the Sanskrit words and then do a little recitation/memorization practice so that by the end of the program, you'll (hopefully) have a basic idea of all eleven verses and won't need to take the help of a songbook.

When you've mostly understood the words for one of the verses (or better yet, can recite it from memory), you can either send me a voice message privately or post it in the WhatsApp group. I'll also let you know when I'm going live, share the YouTube links, and send updates in the WhatsApp group.

A few days ago, when the idea popped in my head to do this program, I thought I could nicely plan everything out and edit videos like I did before for the Rūpa-śikṣā program, but now, as I am writing this, I'm realizing that I was being way too ambitious; I haven't done any preparation and it's busy Kartik. So, for now, this is going to be a super simple, informal program and I hope to do it again sometime in the future with higher-quality videos that I can post on the Vine of Devotion YouTube channel.

This will be an experiment. If it goes well, then, we can decide together on which stotram or kirtan to go through next. Maybe we could go through Gurvaṣṭakam, Prabhupāda-padma-stava, Ṣaḍ-Gosvāmyaṣṭakam, and Nityānandāṣṭakam in sequence... Anyways, let's first see how this goes. :)
